Before you go there we thought we would explain a couple of things to make
it easier for you to use our system.
The difference between charter airfare and scheduled airfare:
- Scheduled air is with the major airlines
which uses a hub system. This means that if you don't live in a hub
city that you will have a layover both ways. You will depart from
your city and fly into a hub city where you change planes and fly into
your destination. You will have one layover each way unless you
happen to be departing from a hub city. When you choose scheduled
air there are more time and date options available.
- Charter air is usually still a full size
jet (depending on your destination) that has been rented by a major tour
operator to fly from point A to point B and back again. The good
thing about a charter flight is the ability to find a direct flight from
your departure city. When you choose charter air you don't have as
many time and date options available.
- Value flight means that the major tour
operator has an allotment of seats on a flight with a major airline for a
set price, but it doesn't guarantee a direct flight.
- Single stop or
multi stop has nothing to do with the number of layovers involved
in your air travel. Single stop means you are traveling to one
destination and home again. Multi stop means you want to visit more
than one destination during your vacation.
- Hotel only means just that, you don't
need airfare and you are looking for a place to stay.
- Once you enter the booking engine and you are looking at a selection
of hotels and resorts to choose from, you can click on the name of the
hotel which is a link to an information page about that property as well
as pictures.
- Please keep in mind that not every destination or hotel available on
our booking engine is all-inclusive. All Inclusive will be listed,
and if it states European Plan then it is not an all inclusive resort.
